What Are Goji Berries

Last Monday’s post, Goji Berry and Coconut Sauce, was received with interest. While the recipe garnered some ‘sound yummy’ responses, not everyone knew about goji berries, so here’s some background on this pretty little fruit.

Some say that research is scant as to their healing benefits, however they play an important role in Chinese medicine, so I’ll leave it up to you to read this and decide for yourself.

In truth, I use them because soft, dried goji berries are totally delicious … IF you buy the sugar-free version.

What Are Goji Berries

  • They’re a bright orange-red berry, also known as the Wolf Berry

Hmmm, now I’m going to need to go find some of these amazing berries. The benefits seem many to say the least!
